The PI Data Integrator solution, implemented by ConnectPoint, has ensured secure, scalable data transfer to Google Cloud and improved data quality. As a result, data is available faster, facilitating analysis, supporting process optimisation and feeding BI and AI solutions in near real time.
The challenge
Veolia was faced with a rapid increase in measurement data and the need to securely share this data with modern cloud-based analytics tools. The company lacked a consistent, scalable mechanism for transferring data from the AVEVA PI System to Google Cloud whilst maintaining data quality.
Solution
ConnectPoint has implemented PI Data Integrator, which is responsible for securely transferring measurement data from AVEVA PI to the Google Cloud environment.
