Solutions for the Power industry

Systems for monitoring electricity and heat production from conventional sources. These monitoring capabilities also support the energy transition by unifying operational and sustainability data flows.

Production monitoring systems

Our solutions are based on the AVEVA PI system. Their collection is the collection, archiving, analysis and presentation of data in real time (necessary for managing the use of electricity and heat).

A well-implemented monitoring system allows access to process optimization by obtaining a single source of truth and providing systems that allow access to data.

As part of the implementation, we support the creation of data codification from KKS or RDSPP, design of synoptic screens, configuration analyzed during use and use of security with business systems.

IT/OT Integration

We provide secure and efficient integration of critical infrastructure systems with the IT world. We select solutions that comply with ISO standards and cybersecurity requirements. It is equally important to ensure high performance and scalability of data transfer. Our solutions support connection redundancy, cooperation with data diodes and guarantee high system availability.

Data Lake Platforms

The specific nature of energy production involves generating a large amount of data that must be continuously collected, processed, and shared with other business systems in the company.

ConnectPoint offers Data Lake platforms in public and private clouds, enabling the integration of process, maintenance, and production forecast data, as well as their consistent sharing with other systems. These platforms accelerate the energy transition by centralizing operational KPIs and sustainability metrics in one place.

We support both on-premise solutions and cloud migration.

Reporting

Effective reporting is key to the operations of energy companies. Our solutions automate the generation of reliable reports and their effective distribution within the organization. We work with leading software manufacturers to deliver solutions tailored to individual customer needsand we integrate ESG reporting software to standardize disclosures across CSRD/ESRS and audit needs.

Environmental reporting

In the energy sector, environmental reporting is becoming not only a regulatory requirement, but also a tool for increasing transparency, improving operational efficiency and building a sustainable business strategy.

Environmental reporting is the process of collecting, analyzing and presenting data on the impact of a company’s activities on the environment in accordance with current regulations (e.g. EU ETS, EU Taxonomy).

In the energy sector, it includes, among others:

  • CO₂ and other greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, including the carbon footprint throughout the supply chain
  • energy consumption and energy efficiency
  • use of renewable energy sources (RES) and the share of green energy in the energy balance
  • waste management with optimization of recycling processes
  • water resources management, including monitoring and optimization of water consumption.

We ensure compliance with environmental reporting regulations. These are:

CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive)

From 2024, it obliges large companies in the EU to report in accordance with the new ESRS standards (European Sustainability Reporting Standards).

EU ETS (European Emissions Trading System)

A system in which companies in the energy sector and other energy-intensive industries must report their CO₂ emissions and purchase emission allowances.

EU Taxonomy

A classification system for economic activities that determines their compliance with sustainable development goals and supports green investments.

GHG Protocol

An international standard for reporting greenhouse gas emissions, covering three scopes: Scope 1 (direct emissions), Scope 2 (indirect emissions associated with purchased energy) and Scope 3 (other emissions throughout the value chain). To streamline this process end-to-end, we deploy ESG reporting software that automates evidence collection, KPI calculation, and assurance workflows.

Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM)

We support the implementation of RCM. This is a maintenance strategy focused on reliability that helps identify and eliminate potential failures, optimize operating costs and increase the availability of key equipment. We design reliability centered maintenance programs that align asset functions, failure modes, and consequences with optimal preventive actions. It is of fundamental importance in the energy sector, as it allows for increased system reliability, reduced downtime and better management of technical resources.

Benefits of using reliability centered maintenance in the energy sector:

  • optimization of turbine, generator, boiler and auxiliary system inspections
  • use of predictive maintenance to predict failures based on operating data
  • minimization of repair costs and unplanned downtime

Improving the efficiency of energy and heat production

We implement solutions supporting energy balance optimization, power management and energy demand forecasting.

As part of the implementation, we use advanced optimization and prediction algorithms, as well as real-time monitoring of effects, which enables ongoing analysis and improvement of energy efficiency.
